Postnatal Planning
Designed to explore all of the topics that no-one tells you about
Privately held in your home or my cosy homebirth space, we explore topics that are not normally discuss in traditional Antenatal education. I prioritise discussion on Mental health of both mother and her supporting partner and support you in putting together a postnatal plan preparing for a healthy and supported recovery
We work through our planning session using the RECOVER framework designed to support us in covering all of the areas that need considering:
R - rest and physical recovery
E - Emotional resilience
C - Cat naps
O - Organising life
V - visitors and boundaries
E - eating and nutrition for mum and baby
R - Relationship dynamics
On request, I can also cover topics on newborn development, health and wellbeing including baby feeding options and care such as bathing, cord care and nappy changing.
